Just arrived from Melbourne and waiting for our room at the Shangri La Hotel where we are staying for three nights.
Just spitting distance from The Bridge which we are climbing later this afternoon....the braveness of six months ago is beginning to fade fast as it looms hugely in front of us.
A lot warmer and more humid here in Sydney....hope it doesn'e turn to lightening.
Happy birthday to Sybil...49 today. Great to talk to you just as you were going to sleep!

George did his sponsored bounce today, he really earned his £5 thank you very much. It is Clown day at High Oakham tomorrow so he will be fully togged up, photos can be viewed on your return!
We can't wait to see the photos from the top of the bridge, hope you kept your breakfasts down!

Sorry about the mess up - Mick here. Hope you enjoyed your climb up the Harbour Bridge and got down safely without the need of those parachutes I told you about. Look fwd to seeing some photos. 36 degrees here today. We haven't done anything other than sit in the lounge doing crosswords and reading papers, with the air con on full. Jenny and Barry arrived Melbourne today - too hot for them but Jane told them to wait 5 minutes! Cheers. Mick
Happy Birthday Sybil - belated (from Jane and Mick. We were going to phone you the other night (Oz time) and were all going to sing happy birthday tra la la la, but realised just in time that you would probably not have been amused. It would have been 11pm in England!!!!
