Langebaan

Both jeannette and me brought with us from the UK sore throat, cough and cold which we just got rid of to enjoy a nice weekend at Langebaan with Mike and Val and Jerry and Noreen and Dave and Shiela who own a rather nice holiday home there.
Langebaan is 1.5hour drive from Cape Town up the west coast......was a small fishing village which is now lost in a frenzy of holiday home building....but it is a quiet safe place for Cape Towners to escape to.
Highlight was an afternoon at the famous Strandloper Beach Barbecue where you gorge on 10 courses of all varieties of fish cooked in front of you washed down of course with good white wine
....can amble on the rocks and beach between courses.....wonderful

Hi J&R - we aren't going to be able to compete with this marathon fishy feast but the Cape Milk Bar does not bad fish and chips in newspaper. Will that do?
Love Jane and Mick - keep the blogs coming - we need MORE.
